Caramelized Pear, Chocolate and Goat Cheese Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:
  •              1 bosc or bartlett pear, cored and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  •              1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  •              1 cup milk
  •              1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  •              1 teaspoon honey
  •              2 tablespoons goat or blue cheese
  •              1 tablespoon cocoa
  •              1 tablespoon cocoa nibs
  •              1 pinch cardamom

Directions:
  1. Drizzle the pear slices with oil, place on a baking pan in a single layer and broil until golden brown, about 2-4 minutes per side. Keep an eye on them!
  2. Puree everything in a blender or food processor until smooth, serve garnished with crumbled cheese and cocoa nibs and enjoy.
