Ingredients:
- 2-3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, adjust based on your preference
- 3-4 tablespoons olive oil, adjust based on your preference
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tablespoon chopped basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ~4 cups of your choice of mixed salad greens
- 1 avocado, diced or sliced
- ¼ red onion, sliced
- 1 medium to large grilled or seared steak, cooked to your preference – sliced into strips
- ~4 ounces of crumbled blue cheese, can also use feta/goat cheese/queso fresco
- A few extra chopped basil leaves

Instructions:
- To prepare the basil balsamic salad dressing, place the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk lightly. Can be made ahead of time, refrigerate until ready to use.
- To prepare the salad, place the salad greens in a salad bowl, add the diced avocado, red onion slices, steak strips, crumbled blue cheese, and the chopped basil.
- Sprinkle the balsamic dressing over the salad, toss and serve immediately.
